2005 LUKENMAC Invitational Update

Luke MCFaddenThe 2005 Lukenmac was the most successful tournament in our 5 year history with 100 players. Thanks to everone's generosity we will make a donation for over $42,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We truly appreciate everyone's support over the years in our fight to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for this terrible disease. We wanted to share what this tournament has contributed over the years.

2001 - $5,000
2002 - $8,000
2003 - $15,000
2004 - $26,000
2005 - $42,000 (an increase of 62% over 2004)

Luke swings off tee box number oneYear after year we continue to exceed our goals and this could not have been accomplished with out each individual and each corporate contribution. The money raised is wisely spent with $.91 of every $1 raised going to the CF Foundation who then determines where this money going to research is best spent. This year the median life expectancy was raised to 35 from 33 so progress is being made.

Hopefully everyone had a good time at the tourney despite the storms that forced us to call the tournament after 9 holes. Look forward to seeing everyone at next years tourney!

This year's Lukenmac Invitational benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be held on August 20th, 2005. We will once again have the tourney at Clary Fields Golf Club outside of Tulsa and it will be a 1:00 Shotgun start.

Our fundraising goal is $30,000 this year which is a 15% increase from last year.

Purpose of the Lukenmac Invitational

All of the money raised from the Lukenmac Invitational Golf Tournament goes to the CF Foundation. The CF Foundation is consistantly recognized as one of the premeire charitable organizations with $.91 of every dollar raised going to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for this disease.

Because CF affects a relatively small number of people, fundraising is extremely important in helping to find new drugs and treatments for this disease.

To keep the efforts of the LUKENMAC Invitational moving forward, our goal for 2004 is to raise $30,000. We believe that by building on our past successes, this is an attainable goal:
