2004 LUKENMAC Invitational Update

The 4th Annual Lukenmac Invitational was the most successful yet!

Thanks to everyone's generous support we raised over $26,000 (net) on a goal of $20,000. In 2003 we raised $15,000 so this is a huge increase and we could not have done it without the many people and companies who donate their time and money. Please see the corporate sponsor's page for the companies who helped this year. We also had several people conduct their own letter writing campaigns in conjunction with the tourney which helped tremendously.

We had a record 96 players this year and enjoyed a beautiful day at Clary Fields. Some of the Sooners will disagree but Pistol Pete's apperance was really a hit with the kids - maybe we can get Top Dog next year?

We really appreciate everyone's support. It is really amazing how generous people are and how many people look forward to playing in this event each year. The money goes directly to the CF Foundation and will help find better treatments and ultimately a cure to this disease. The fundraising is vital to keep the new medicines coming.
